What currency is supported by Elios?
Elios runs on USDC, a fully-reserved digital dollar. Your balance, your Earn vault, and your card all operate in USDC, so everything in the app is denominated in US dollars.
You can deposit and send USDC across all supported networks, including Hyperliquid, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, and Solana. Elios covers the bridge fees on every supported network.
Please only send USDC to your deposit address. Other assets are not supported at this stage, and anything else sent to your address could be permanently lost.
Your card works internationally: when you pay in another currency, the amount is converted at the point of sale and settled from your USDC balance in dollars.
Why are there limits?
During beta, card spending is capped at $20,000 per month. This is a standard safeguard while we scale the card program with our issuing partner, and it helps us keep every layer of the system running smoothly as we grow.
The limit applies to card spending only. Your Elios account itself is not capped: you can hold, deposit, send, and earn without restriction.
In a future version, you will be able to set and update your own card limit to whatever suits you, whether that is lower for peace of mind or higher for bigger purchases. Beta feedback directly shapes how we build this, so if the current limit gets in your way, tell us.
