Where can I use the Elios card?
Anywhere Visa is accepted, which means tens of millions of merchants across 120+ countries. Use it online, in store, and for contactless payments through Apple Wallet.
The card is denominated in US dollars and works internationally. When you pay in another currency, the amount is converted at the point of sale and settled from your USDC balance.
A small number of merchant categories and destinations cannot be supported, in line with Visa network rules and our issuing partner's regulatory obligations. Separately, please note the card can only be issued to residents of eligible countries; see our card eligibility entry for the list.
Can I use the card online?
Yes. The Elios card works for online payments anywhere Visa is accepted, from everyday purchases to subscriptions.
Tap Show details in the Cards tab to view your card number, expiry date, and CVV, and copy them straight into any checkout page. Everything is protected by Face ID.
For recurring payments like streaming services or software subscriptions, just save the card with the merchant as you would any Visa debit card. Payments are approved against your balance in real time, so make sure your balance covers upcoming charges.
Can I use the card in stores?
Yes. The Elios card works in person anywhere Visa is accepted, in 120+ countries.
The fastest way to pay in store is with your phone: add your card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet in one tap from the app, then pay contactless, no physical card needed.
Can I add the card to Apple Pay or Google Pay?
Yes. You can add your Elios card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet directly from the app in one tap: open the Cards tab and tap Add to Wallet. Once added, pay contactless in store with your phone, and use it for in-app and online checkouts wherever Apple Pay or Google Pay is offered.
Your card details stay protected: when you pay through Apple Pay or Google Pay, the merchant never sees your real card number. Each payment uses a device-specific number and must be approved from your phone.
If you ever lose your phone, your card can be frozen instantly from the Elios app on any device.
