How does cashback work?
Cashback promotions will run during the beta test. The mechanics of each promotion, rates, eligible spending, and payout details, will be announced as they launch, so keep an eye on our social channels to catch them.
One thing to understand about how these work: cashback promotions are offered at Elios's sole discretion. They are promotional rewards, not a contractual entitlement, and Elios may modify, pause, or end a promotion at any time. Where that happens, rewards already earned under the promotion's announced terms will be honored.

Which transactions are excluded from cashback?
Excluded transactions may include:
- Refunds
- Reversals
- Fraudulent transactions
- Restricted merchant categories
- Fees
- Internal transfers
- Certain financial services
- Transactions that violate the terms
Is cashback guaranteed?
No. Cashback at Elios takes the form of limited promotions, offered at Elios's sole discretion. Promotions may be modified, paused, or ended at any time, and running one promotion does not commit us to running another.
Can cashback rates change?
Yes. Cashback rates are set per promotion and can change at any time, at Elios's discretion. A new promotion may carry a different rate than the last one, and an active promotion may be modified or ended as announced in its terms.
When is cashback paid?
Depending on the promotion, rewards may be credited shortly after each eligible purchase settles, or accumulated and paid out at a set interval.
What currency is cashback paid in?
The cashback payout schedule is shown in the app and is paid in USDC.
