Are there foreign exchange or international transaction fees?
When you pay in a currency other than US dollars, the amount is converted at the Visa network exchange rate, and Visa applies an international transaction fee of up to 1%. Elios adds nothing on top.
Two tips for paying abroad: if a terminal offers to charge you in dollars instead of the local currency, decline. That option, called dynamic currency conversion, almost always uses a worse rate than paying in local currency and letting Visa convert. And note that some merchants or ATM operators may apply their own charges, which are outside Elios's control.
Are there network, deposit, or withdrawal fees?
Deposits. Sending USDC to Elios costs you only the gas fee of the network you are sending from, paid to that network, not to Elios. If you deposit from a network other than Hyperliquid, a bridge is involved, and Elios covers the bridge fee. On Hyperliquid, deposits are instant and free.
Withdrawals and sends. Transfers on Hyperliquid are instant and free. Sending to another supported network involves a bridge, and Elios covers that fee too. The full amount you enter is what the recipient receives.
Elios itself charges nothing for deposits, withdrawals, or transfers. The only costs that exist anywhere in the flow are third-party network gas fees on the sending side, which apply to any on-chain transfer, on any platform.
