Can I send money to an external wallet?
Yes, anytime. Your funds are yours to move: tap Send, choose a network, enter the recipient's address and amount, and confirm. Transfers are processed instantly.
You can send USDC natively on Hyperliquid, or to Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, and Solana, with bridge fees covered by Elios.
Two things to double-check before confirming: on-chain transfers are final, so verify the recipient address carefully, and make sure the recipient supports USDC on the network you choose. This matters especially when sending to an exchange: check which networks the exchange accepts USDC on, and pick a matching one.
Can I receive money from anyone?
Yes. Anyone can send you USDC, whether they use Elios or not. Share your deposit address from the Receive tab, and funds sent to it arrive directly in your wallet, no approval needed on your side.
You can receive on any supported network: Hyperliquid, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, and Solana. Elios covers the bridge fees, so the full amount reaches your balance; the sender only pays their network's gas fee.
The one rule to pass along to whoever is sending: USDC only. Other assets sent to your address could be permanently lost. If the sender is transferring from an exchange, they should make sure the withdrawal is USDC on one of the supported networks.
Can Elios reverse an onchain transaction?
No. Once a transaction is confirmed on chain, it is final. This is not an Elios policy but how blockchains work: no one, including Elios, can reverse, cancel, or recall a confirmed transfer.
That is why the app asks you to verify the recipient address before confirming. If you sent funds to the wrong address, whether they can be returned depends entirely on who controls that address. If you know the recipient, ask them to send the funds back. If the address belongs to a service like an exchange, contact their support: many can recover deposits sent by their users under the wrong details. If the address is inactive or belongs to no one you can identify, the funds are unfortunately unrecoverable.
This finality is the same property that protects you: just as no one can claw back money you sent, no one can reverse money you received.
What happens if I send funds to the wrong address?
Elios cannot recover funds sent to the wrong address or unsupported network.
